Q. Don't large car wash facilities
waste a lot of water?
A. Our proprietary process uses an average of 30 gallons of water per car wash, while an
average do-it-yourself driveway wash averages 162 gallons.
Q. Won't frequent washing ruin
the finish on my car?
A. Actually, as most car owner manuals will tell you, frequent professional car washes with
clear coat treatments and wax protectants protect your car from the damaging effects of weather and UV ray damage.
Q. Are the cleaning solutions you use to wash my car bad for the environment?
A. We collect
the used cleaning solutions and make sure the water is safely reused or treated. This helps save the environment and our precious
water supply. If you wash your car at home, you don't have these environmental safeguards. The chemicals you use seep into
the ground water supply and natural waterways.
Q. What's the best way to protect my car's
finish?
A. The Car Spa of Highlands makes it easy to maintain and protect your car's finish. First, wash your
car weekly or more if necessary. Second, most major automobile manufacturers recommend frequent waxing, as often as every
three months in harsh climates and every six months in more mild climates. Finally, it is further recommended that an application
of Sealer Wax or Clear Coat Protectants be applied at least monthly between wax applications to extend the life.
Q: When should I wash off insect residue?
A: As soon as possible, especially if the vehicle
is new. Insect residue and bird droppings form acids that immediately start to eat away a vehicle's finish and can burn into
the paint.
